Summer Activities List

Home Depot- The 1st Saturday of every month, Home depot offers FREE activity classes for kids. Adult DIY classes are also held every third Thursday. Each kid gets an apron and a pin for each class you complete

Indoor Gyms- Examples: MyGym, Lucky Monkey, Gymboree, Crayola World. Coupons can be found on groupon, Living Social or Retail me not

Gyms (With childcare) Joining a fitness center that offers child care can be a daycare for a day! I was previously a member of YouFit. I paid $30 a month which included open gym, unlimited classes and unlimited childcare!

Chick fil A- Don’t sleep on the playground! When I was growing up, the McDonald’s playground was LIT! These days, P asks to go to Chick fil A just so he can use the playground! Cheap lunch, free play, Its a win-win!

Painting with a Twist- While I still have not tried one of these classes, it recently caught my eye as they offer kids classes as well!

Museums- Most museums are inexpensive or FREE! For example, the Firefighters Museum in Orlando (by Orlando Science Center) is FREE!

Theme Parks (Lego Land, Disney, Sea World etc) OK, while these parks are not cheap by far, there is a benefit if you are an educator. I get a free yearly pass to Lego Land, Sea World, Madam Tussauds, Orlando Sea Life, Busch Gardens and The Orlando Eye. Sea World also offers a free preschool pass for kids ages 3-5. I recently got him passes everywhere else because you know, when he was 3 he was still 2 (Judge ya mama!) We still save with only paying for his pass. We get reusable cups for each park where we pay $1 for refills. Look into educator discounts in your city!

Michael’s Arts n Crafts. Michael’s stores offers FREE or inexpensive arts and crafts classes. Most times, you just have to pay a few bucks for materials! They also have adult DIY classes. And you can almost always find coupons on their website!

Local Library. Please check your local library. I mean its low key a FREE summer camp! They have activities for all age groups daily! Check the website for schedules as you must register in advance for specific activities
