Last weekend, I was honored to co-host the Orlando edition of the Melanin Moms who Brunch tour. Melanin Moms who Brunch is a 9 city tour, presented by Ms.Jennifer Pink! The brunch is an intimate brunch, one designed exclusively for the Melanin Mom.The brunch has one primary focus: assisting each mom in attendance in reconnecting with the woman within herself- because we are more than just their mom. The theme for this tour is Living your best life-For real for real! The brunch series is guaranteed to cause you to refocus, recharge and reconnect.
Ms. Jennifer Pink is a true mompreneuer that has dedicated her life to providing resources, information, and support that inspires and empowers mothers-especially melanin mothers on their journey. With similar missions, Jennifer and I connected via social media! I was honored to serve as the co-host in the city of Orlando! Although I am not originally from Florida, I have built and connected with a tribe of motivated women, moms and mompreneuers in the city. I am grateful that we recognize our power as mothers, but do not forget about ourselves as women outside of motherhood.
On February 23, Melanin Moms from Orlando gathered for an intimate brunch over food, conversation and mimosas! At this brunch, I connected with these moms by sharing some of my personal experiences as a Modern Mama! As purposed, we connected over similar experiences, were able to relate and also offer insight and suggestions to different scenarios. As we learned more bout each other, we shared some of our pain points as well as passions. I am so excited and can’t wait for some of these moms to share their entrepreneurial ventures in the works! As you can see from the photos below (see more on my Facebook and Instagram pages), we had an amazing time!
Don’t worry if you have missed the Orlando’s brunch- there are 7 more stops beginning with Vegas this Saturday March 9! Remember my code “MDBM” works in all cities!
Be sure to connect with Jennifer as well on all social media platforms as MsJenniferPink
