Raising my son in an untraditional way, I’m sure most have wondered, and a few even questioned if our son would be getting everything he needed.
Our response and stance even before he was conceived is simple: All he needs is LOVE ❤️
We have stood by this since the thought of having a child. We will raise a well rounded individual surrounded by love. Love is shown, given and received openly and freely in our family, not just on Valentine’s Day. This day, we just enjoy showing our love and gratitude to extended family and friends.
Last year, was fun letting Phoenix choose the valentines gifts he wanted for his friends and teachers at Daycare. This year he chose the small balloons for each of his Teachers, but this #ModernDayBlackMama wanted to get creative so I personalized each of his friends treats!
As this Modern Day mama is frugal 💸, all items cost less than $10!! Printables were free on Pinterest, Loot bags w/ ties, balloons, lip balm and goldfish all for ONE 1️⃣ dollar from Dollar Tree! The Peppa Pig hearts were left over from his birthday party 😉 (I don’t waste much lol)
“I’m glad we’re in the same school” goldfish treat bag… individualized for each friend 🐠
Peppa Pig 🐷 treat bag with scripture 📖
“You’re the Balm” treat card 💄💋 I thought these were really cute to add to his teachers gift!
What Valentines treats have you made? Give me some ideas💡 I’m already prepping for next year lol
❤ Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️
“So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE”. 1. Corinthians 13:13
This is soooooo cute!!!! I’m so mad I didn’t do anything this year! This gave me so many ideals! Maybe I still have time
