“He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head is an artist” – St. Francis of Assisi

And I’m not saying my lil man will be an artist, lol, but hey he will be open to all opportunities and possibilities!

I love the kids workshops Home Depot offers the 1st Saturday of each month! Children are able to use their hands to build a craft… it’s so cute with child size hammers and nails. This week was a Valentines box that the kids built and painted. Phoenix says’ “I wanna go build!” …and this week he even saw a friend from daycare!

Kids get a personalized apron and earn a pin for each workshop they attend. Best of all, it’s FREE!

Look up events at your local Home Depot. They also have FREE DIY classes for adults.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing! I’m going to try Zion out with one of these classes, that way he’ll become my little “handy-man” at home when it comes to big projects! 😎
